How can I purchase art without looking at it in person ?

If you like one of my artworks on the website, I assure you that you would like it even more when you see it in person. To ensure that you are absolutely confident of your purchase, JanPaulWittebol.com offers you a no-questions-asked, full-refund guarantee, with every purchase (see “Guarantee” page ).
Each artwork image and all related details are carefully reviewed to ensure that their presentation on the website reflects the actual artwork as closely as possible. Additionally, you can send any questions that you might have to me before making your purchase decision.

How do I purchase JanPaulWittebol.com art ?

You decide how much you want to pay. If your offer is accepted by me, I get in touch with you to talk about further procedings. You can pay with PayPal [ so with your debit / creditcard ], but also via bank transfer. The only thing you have to do is send me an email with your offer to.

Please do not worry that your offer is too low. Just offer whatever amount you feel like paying.

Can I order from anywhere in the world ?

What forms of payment do you accept ?

I accept PayPal which works with all major credit cards, including American Express, MasterCard and Visa.

In order to give you the maximum payment flexibility, I also accept money orders, wires, Western Union or other forms of payment. Please email me  if you have questions or need further clarification.

Can I license the image of an artwork for commercial purposes ?

Only with specified images. The purchase of an artwork does not imply that the buyer owns the license to use the image for commercial purposes. At JanPaulWittebol.com , some images of artworks may be available for image licensing, for commercial purposes. Please send me your inquiry, indicating the name of the specific artwork you wish to use, and details of the intended commercial use.

What if I need some advise ?

I can provide you with online advice from both interior-design specialists and art specialists. Whether it is a question on the art, its display at your home, its framing, or any other concern you might have, you have access to our experts. Just email your question.

How much does shipping cost ?

The shipping of original artworks involves special care and packaging. The shipping cost (including handling, insurance and delivery) is included in the price.

How is art shipped ?

JanPaulWittebol.com works very closely with leading worldwide shippers such as DHL, UPS and Federal Express. Sometimes, due to your location or the size and type of art, I may work with other shippers who specialize in the packaging and shipping of such artwork.

In the case of paintings, most are shipped “stretched” (i.e., secured to a wooden stretcher that goes behind the painting) and are ready to hang. Occasionally, a larger painting may be shipped rolled in a protective tube (i.e., I remove it from the stretcher, then place it into a specially designed container) due to the requirements of the shipper or to reduce the possibility of any damage. If a painting is shipped rolled, you can simply take it to a qualified local framer to have it stretched on a wooden stretcher. The stretching of a painting is generally an inexpensive process. I can provide you with contact information for framers near you. Feel free to ask at any time for names and contact information on framers in your region.

How long does it take for an artwork to arrive ?

After you place your order, I will confirm within 48 hours of your order, its availability and the timing of shipment. Sometimes your desired artwork may be a part of an ongoing exhibition and may not be immediately available for shipment. In such cases, I will inform you of such delay and the anticipated shipment date. Once the artwork is shipped, it will normally arrive to your address, within a matter of days.

Will my artwork arrive with the frame ?

While I recognize that framing is an important component of display of the artwork, most of my artwork arrives unframed. This allows you to select the framework of your own choice. You can consult your local telephone directory for a list of framers in your vicinity and order the most suitable frame. Of course, you can e-mail me any framing question.

What if I want to return the artwork after it arrives ?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the artwork for an exchange or a full refund (minus one-way shipping costs), by notifying us within 7 days of your receipt. I do request that you return the artwork in its original packing. If you decide to return the artwork, please notify me immediately.

What if my artwork arrives damaged ?

In the unlikely event that the artwork arrives damaged, please e-mail me immediately. I will then guide you through your options. These will include replacing the damaged work (if multiple editions are available), credit towards another purchase, or a full refund.
